【高二５班】中英對照映在梅西印象記４：足球隊(duì) 足球隊(duì)（Soccer Team）
轉(zhuǎn)眼已經(jīng)到達(dá)梅西高中一個多月之久，尤記得在我第一天造訪時，三個遼闊的純天然足球場讓我的眼睛閃爍著羨煞的光芒。毫無疑問，這對于像我和我的朋友這樣的足球愛好者來說，沒什么可比這些能容我們?nèi)涡员寂艿木G茵場更好的了。
兩周后，我們的英語老師Brodie找到了我們，“你們熱愛足球是嗎？現(xiàn)在梅西高中有一支球隊(duì)缺人，你們來嗎？”
“求之不得！”我們毫不猶豫地答到。
周末，我們懷著顆激動的心來到球場與我們的新隊(duì)友們見面。甚至還沒等我換好鞋起身，他們已經(jīng)走過來與我一個個地握手，同時向我介紹他們自己。有些是歐美血統(tǒng)的新西蘭人，有些則與我們一樣是國際學(xué)生，所不同的是他們來自南美洲（從那片大陸來的小伙伴們總有令人嘆為觀止的球技，就好比從中國人都能完美地用筷子一樣）。
在比賽中，我拼盡全力為隊(duì)友創(chuàng)造機(jī)會。我們的付出得到了回報(bào)——最后我們獲得了勝利并贏得了同伴的贊許。
盡管我和我的朋友的在球賽中展現(xiàn)出了自己的實(shí)力，但我們深知在身體體能上我們和我們的新隊(duì)友們是無法抗衡的。于是，刻苦的足球訓(xùn)練與俯臥撐、仰臥起坐等便成了我們生活中的一部分。
感謝足球，不僅因?yàn)樗鼜慕】档慕嵌冉o我們帶來了益處，也因?yàn)樗刮覀兪斋@了友誼與快樂。
Having been in Massey high School for more than one month, I still remember the first day I came here. My eyes were lit up by seeing such three large magnificent football fields. No doubt, for the soccer lover like my friends and me, nothing is better than the natural green-grass where we can run without any worries.
Two weeks later, our English teacher Mr. Brodie found us, “Do you guys like soccer? Here is a social team of Massey High lacking members, do you want to join?”
“Of course!” Answered by us without hesitation.
At weekend, with an excited heart, I arrived at the field to meet my new team partners. Even before I stood up after changing into my soccer shoes, they came to me, shaking hands with me one by one and introduced themselves. Some of them are kiwi; some are international students like me but came from South America (Guys from there always have amazing soccer skills just like people from China can use chopsticks well!).
During the game, I fought the best, creating the opportunities for partners. Our efforts got the reward, because we became the winner at last and I won the cheer from my partners.
Although my friends and I performed well at the soccer game, we found the lack of strength compared with the kiwis. So now, hard soccer training and push-up have become an indispensable part of our life.
